Job Description
As the Supervisor of Inventory, you will oversee daily cycle counts, conduct root cause research on discrepancies, and manage all inbound and inventory related workflows. You will ensure the building is properly slotted for optimal pick efficiency and work to maintain correct execution standards in an environment that is currently undergoing significant improvement. This includes monitoring replenishment activity, ensuring accuracy, and supporting inbound inventory flows even though the receiving team operates during daytime hours and you will not overlap with them frequently.
In this role, you will partner closely with the Director, Warehouse and Director of Continuous Improvement and collaborate cross functionally to implement improvements and operational changes. You will report directly to the Director of Warehouse and work closely with the Director, Continuous Improvement to strengthen and refine inventory processes. You will lead a team of 14 inventory associates—60% of whom are contractors—supported by two leads (one leading a team of 5, the other leading 9).
Because the operation is highly manual, you will be expected to take a hands on leadership approach—diving into processes, identifying inefficiencies, and contributing input toward future automation efforts. Strong people leadership is essential as you will be responsible for hiring, performance management, coaching, corrective action, and daily problem solving. This position also provides a clear path for career advancement into Operations Manager or Warehouse Manager roles.
$70,000 to $75,000- Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
