Job Description

Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse
operations, including inventory management, receiving, storing, and shipping products in a
timely and efficient manner

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and
shipping products.
• Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management by conducting regular cycle counts
and reconciling discrepancies.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in strict compliance with Food Safety Standards as outlined
by Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company
policies and regulatory requirements.
• Hire, train, coach, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and
productivity.
• Monitor and enforce workplace safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with the route sales team to ensure seamless operations and timely order
fulfillment.
• Utilize existing technology tools to track inventory levels and streamline processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance metrics, such as inventory accuracy,
on-time delivery, and labor productivity.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management

Required Skills & Experience

Position Requirements
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify problems
and propose and execute solutions.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation
management systems (TMS) is desirable.
• Preferred experience implementing Six Sigma practices.
• Ability to bend, lift (up to 60 lbs.), climb, stretch, reach, and walk throughout the day.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely with training.
• Ability to use a computer to track inventory.
