An Insight Global Fortune 500 client is looking for a talented Technical PM/PO to join their team. This individual will be working directly with engineering manager and team to write stories, drive timelines, and manage backlogs. This area of the organization is within retail check out and payments domain. The engineering team is dedicated to the POS platform and they build and maintain applications/systems that help speed up the checkout process and experience. They are continuously modernizing and enhancing these apps and systems. This candidate will be interacting with the manager directly in the activities listed above. They will also be responsible for prioritization exercises and sharing ideas to IT leadership. The groups they will work most with includes: the engineering manager, the team/team leads, principal engineers, organizational leadership, and sometimes devops groups as well.

- Mid-level - 3-5 years of experience as a technical PM or PO (flexible here)
- Experience writing user stories, prioritizing tasks, and building product roadmaps
- Experience managing multiple projects and timelines and keeping them on track
- Background working in Jira project tracking
- Experience managing backlogs
- Experience working in an Agile environment
Using Jira for project tracking
- Local to Atlanta or Denver - Having a home depot nearby will be helpful
- Familiarity with unix/linux and cloud environments in past projects
