Delivery and Execution
• Design and build RESTful APIs and backend services to support applications
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability
• Conduct code reviews and write unit/integration tests
• Contribute to technical documentation and design specifications"
Support and Enablement:
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams
• Debug and resolve backend issues across environments
• Participate in incident management and system monitoring
Pay Rate: $8.00-$10.00 an hour depending on skills and experience

Required Skills & Experience
• 4–7 years of experience in backend application development in large-scale systems"
• Hands-on experience with Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot for backend development
• Building and consuming REST APIs
• Strong understanding of SQL (Postgres, MySQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate or JPA
• Working knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly Firestore
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Playwright)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic DevOps tools
• Exposure to message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pub/Sub) and logging frameworks (e.g., Log4j, SLF4J)
• Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD & SRE concepts
• Strong understanding of clean coding practices, domain-driven design methodology
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience working in cloud environments (GCP-preferred)
• Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes, Serverless environments
• Experience in performance and load testing using tools like Locust
• Understanding of Agile project methodologies
