An Insight Global Fortune 500 client is seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to join their engineering team. This role involves collaborating with other engineers to develop new APIs and endpoints for frontend features, focusing on enhancing the "My List" application, which includes customer favorites and hearts. Additionally, the role includes building an AI application using Python to support both new and existing applications, spanning from the website frontend to the database. The ideal candidate will specialize in Java and React, with equally strong skills in both, and possess Python knowledge to support a small sub-team of three engineers working on the AI Python application. Responsibilities include backend development using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), database management with Cassandra, maintaining high standards of code quality and performance monitoring, and providing expertise and guidance to the Python sub-team. The candidate should have proven experience in frontend development, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to quickly integrate and make an immediate impact.
