Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Associate/Inspector to ensure that products meet print requirements and specifications. As a Quality Associate/Inspector, you will play a vital role in collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Investigation Managers (IM), Supplier Quality Engineers SQE), Procurement and Logistics, to address quality issues and drive aged inventory reduction.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand quality requirements.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspections using appropriate tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges following applicable written inspection procedures, specifications, drawings and other pertinent instructions to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts.
- Report inspection results in SAP for the Inspection Lot (I/L) and Quality Notification (QN) associated with the part in question. Upload pictures and supporting documentation in documentum for the Quality Notification (QN) associated with the issue and update the defect description accordingly. Communicate to the IM, SQE, Procurement and/or Logistics the finding and actions taken.
- Collaborate with IM/SQE to address quality issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies.
- Assist in developing and maintaining quality documentation, including inspection procedures and checklists.
- Refer difficulties to PW supervisor. May be assigned to carry out tasks, not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individuals' skills.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience of read and interpret blueprints
- 3+ years of experience with applying GD&T (geometric dimensioning & tolerancing) standards/symbols
- Knowledge/experience in SAP software
- Knowledge of how to use standard tools (calipers, gauges, etc)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge/experience with quality systems and standards such as AS9100
- Good communication skills, and ability to follow safety instructions
