Job Description

The Project Manager / Site Supervisor (PM/SS) is a hybrid role designed to manage and oversee day-to-day operations on short-term construction projects for Visionary Construction, Inc. This individual ensures timely execution, quality control, subcontractor coordination, and safety compliance, acting as both the on-site lead and project coordinator. This position will require out-of-state travel to project sites on an as needed basis, and will sit fully remote out of the greater Atlanta area.

Primary Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for project coordination, scheduling, and communication with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Develop and manage project work plans, timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
Review scope of work, construction drawings, and specifications to ensure project compliance.
Site Supervision:
Direct and supervise all field operations, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work meets contract specifications and safety regulations.
Conduct daily site walks and safety meetings.
Ensure quality standards through daily inspections and enforce corrective actions when needed.
Safety & Compliance:
Enforce all OSHA and Visionary safety protocols on-site.
Maintain project documentation including incident reports, safety logs, and equipment checklists.
Ensure that workers use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Logistics & Coordination:
Oversee delivery, storage, and use of materials, tools, and equipment.
Coordinate inspections with government agencies and quality control personnel.
Track inventory of supplies and request additional resources as needed.
Documentation & Reporting:
Submit daily progress reports, timekeeping, site photos, and field logs.
Maintain project documentation and communicate status updates to management and clients.
Document change orders and coordinate approvals with the appropriate stakeholders.

Work Conditions:
Field-based role requiring travel to project sites.
May involve extended hours or weekend work based on project timelines.
Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to pass a federal background check

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years of construction experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or project management capacity.
Experience with federal construction contracts preferred.
Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and OSHA compliance.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.

Certifications preferred:
OSHA 30
CPR/First Aid
Quality Control Management (if required by contract)
