Job Description
An Insight Global client in the semiconductor industry is seeking to hire an entry level manufacturing operator to support their location in Atlanta. This person will be primarily responsible for the assembly of microelectronics components in a clean space environment. About 75% of the shift will be spent in a clean room and will require the employee to wear PPE equipment. Additional responsibilities for this role include recording data with instrumentation tools, breaking down and cleaning work stations based on safety and contamination-control standards, and other miscellaneous manufacturing projects as needed.
- Perform manual tasks such as material handling, assembly, packaging, and labeling in a controlled cleanroom environment.
- Follow all clean space protocols, including gowning procedures, equipment handling, and contamination-control practices.
- Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision.
- Assist with routine cleaning, sanitization, and organization of the cleanroom and equipment.
- Accurately complete documentation, logs, and checklists in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or internal quality standards.
- Support quality inspections and report any deviations or abnormalities to supervisors. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production schedules and performance targets.
- Adhere to all workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle small devices
This is a 3 month contract to start with extensions and possible permanent conversion possible. We can offer pay between $18-$20/hr but exact compensation may vary based on education and experience. This role does require candidates to be on-site 5 days a week.

Required Skills & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in a cleanroom, laboratory, or manufacturing environment preferred but not required (training will be provided).
Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and accuracy.
Basic computer literacy for data entry and documentation.
Comfortable spending most of the day in a clean room environment wearing PPE.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts, depending on project needs.
