Instructional Designer/Tech Writer

Job Description:
A client of Insight Globals is looking for an Instructional Designer/Technical Writer to join their team. This candidate is being brought on to create asynchronous/self-guided course material for training around AI and agile practices. They will also have to create written technical documentation on best practices, create content for email campaigns, etc. This person should have experience with developing self-guided videos/content, the ability to talk to technical teams, and should come from an instructional designer background. Some of the tools that are in this environment are: Jira, Confluence, Github Co-pilot, Miro, GLEAN, ETC. . This team uses Articulate 360, Adobe, and MS Office Suite for most of their work to create learning material.

This person will need to have experience creating instructional material such as rubrics, courses, workshop scripts, etc. An ideal candidate should exhibit great communication skills and a passion for training.

Must Haves:
5-10 years of experience
Mid-level or higher just for expertise or comfort with decision making on best form of media
Experince creating instructional material
Async curriculum experience
Working on enterprise level training
Effective communicator with the ability to share clear concise consumable messages
Strong collaboration experience (This is key because they will have to work with engineers, systems engineers, UX, product managers, project management, reliability engineering, leadership, etc.)
Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand deep technical offerings and capabilities.
Strong understanding of AI, agile practices, and SDLC

Plusses:
Experience using Articulate 360 (Rise)
Experience with Percipio learning management tool
