Job Description

Job Responsibilities & Activities:

* Assist in migration of traditional corporate DNS to Cloudflare enterprise zones and accounts

* Automate SSO/SCIM provisioning using Terraform

* Develop terraform modules to empower Cloudflare migrations and standardized security

* Consult on creative usage on Cloudflare to empower the org to achieve its business and technical objectives

* Own the technical implementation for migrations from AWS route53 and Datacenters to Cloudflare

* Collaborate with security team and professionals to facilitate automation and integration of security policies utilizing Cloudflare WAF and additional services

* Own the forward-thinking aspect of Cloudflare at CFA and architect solutions for short term reward and long term goals





Job Overview:

A quick service restaurant is looking for a Lead Platform Engineer/Cloudflare Consultant that is highly skilled and can work independently to join their Kube team. This client leverages a modern, container orchestration platform to deliver cutting edge services to our 2500+ North American restaurants and customers. The client is looking for this resource to assist in migrating all of the client's digital infrastructure to Cloudflare and setting up best practices for how to leverage Cloudflare's features. The ideal candidate will know how to build and operate a shared application platform and create core capabilities for our engineering teams to leverage. This resource will be working with are customers and partners to ensure our platform is healthy and secure. We need you to apply your technical experience to the design, development, and delivery of complex technical products. You will oversee the work on your team and contribute hands-on as a team member helping to implement Cloudflare in the environment and build trust.

Required Skills & Experience

* 7+ years' experience in IT, 1+ years in Lead or Architecture role

* Expertise implementing Cloudflare and establishing best practices

o Technical implementation for migrations from AWS route53 and Datacenters to Cloudflare

* Experience building and supporting systems deployed to cloud provider (AWS)

* Automate SSO/SCIM provisioning using Terraform

o Develop Terraform modules to empower Cloudflare migrations and standardized security

* Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes)

o Experience operating Amazon's Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)

* Experience with Docker and/or other container runtimes

* Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing automation (preferably GitHub Actions)

* Passion for fast-paced, high-quality, agile delivery

* Experience creating and maintaining Helm charts and/or Kustomize templates

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Extensive Kubernetes platform development

o Experience creating and maintaining Kyverno policies

o Experience creating and maintaining Kubernetes network policies

o Experience creating and maintaining Kubernetes CRDs

* Experience operating ArgoCD

* Golang development
