Job Description
The React Developer will support Invesco product teams in building and enhancing institutional applications, internal admin tools, and customer-facing platforms. This role is focused on modern front-end development using React, with strong integration into Java-based back-end services built on Spring Boot.
Key initiatives include developing new holdings and commentary features, supporting custom investment models brought to market to maintain competitiveness, and contributing to ongoing enhancements within the AMBs application.
The developer will work within a mature Agile environment, actively participating in refinement sessions, daily standups, and close collaboration with lead engineers, designers, and solution architects. While architecture and design are typically defined upfront, this individual will take ownership of execution through development, implementation, and delivery, including coordinating across the team and addressing customer-specific enhancement requests.
The pay range for this role is $35–45/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
React frontend development experience
Java 17 or 18 backend experience (minimum 4+ years)
Experience building end‑to‑end applications (not just coding tasks)
Solid understanding of APIs and integrations
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (refinement, daily standups)
Ability to collaborate closely with lead engineers, designers, and solution architects
Experience supporting customer‑specific requests and new feature development
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with institutional or financial services applications
Exposure to external identity services
Experience with custom models or analytics platforms
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
