Job Description
A priority client is hiring for a an Absence/HRIS Manager. This role owns how leave of absence works across the firm from a systems perspective. You’ll be the primary owner of Oracle HCM Absence Management — making sure leave plans are configured correctly, compliant across jurisdictions, integrated cleanly with payroll and reporting, and continuously improved. You’ll partner closely with HR, payroll, benefits, and IT, and you’ll play a big role in shaping how employees experience leave at the firm. It’s both strategic and hands-on. Pay is based on experience, between 150-160k anually.

Required Skills & Experience
· 5+ years of HRIS or Leave of Absence (LOA) experience
· 3+ years hands-on ownership of Oracle HCM Absence Management
· Direct experience configuring and maintaining Oracle Absence Management
· Experience administering multiple leave plans (e.g., FTO, Sick, Parental, Jurisdiction-specific)
· Experience managing leave programs across multiple states and/or countries
· Strong working knowledge of:
o Oracle HCM data structures
o Eligibility rules
o Approval workflows
o Quarterly release cycles
o UAT and regression testing
· Experience supporting payroll and benefits alignment for leave programs
· Experience troubleshooting complex absence issues and discrepancies
· Experience overseeing or owning absence data integrations to downstream systems
Prior experience leading HRIS processes, projects, or functional ownership (people leadership not required)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Experience with:
o Snowflake
o Dayshape
o OTBI reporting
o Power Platform
· Familiarity with HR helpdesk or ticketing tools
· Experience supporting:
o M&A onboarding
o HR systems transformation
o Global HRIS harmonization initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Information Systems, or related field
