Job Description:
The Software Delivery Manager works on major implementation projects for the hardware engineering vertical. The manager is the primary owner of all aspects of software and hardware delivery, from insuring requirements are clear to planning and monitoring any data conversion. This individual will support delivery of critical technology initiatives across multiple teams and organizations. This person will serve as the project lead to Business Partners, Product, other IT groups, and vendor partners and will communicate scope, progress, and issues/risks to stakeholders at various levels - supporting multiple in-flight initiatives at once. Eye for detail, a steady and organized approach for managing complex interdependencies and topics, experience summarizing project status and impediments to technology executives, and a knack for creative problem-solving is a must. All this requires a good mix of technical skill, verbal and written communication skills, project and personnel management. The day-to-day job is to manage people, projects, guide software/hardware direction, review and/or gather requirements, drive estimation and deliver against those estimates.

Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members as needed for completion of work items.
Provide plans, schedules and status to all levels of management and customers
Collect and document business requirements as needed
Develop project schedules and monitor project progress in conjunction with senior management
Assist all software/hardware engineers with hands on code implementation and code architecture and design as needed on projects
Responsible for mentorship, evaluations, conflict resolution and recognition of the staff to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees
Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and is accountable for the timely completion and thorough implementation of all tasks assigned to them
Ensure developers deliver quality work as scheduled in accordance with technical design and product requirements


BASE SALARY: $120,000-$145,0000

Required Skills & Experience

Requirements:
6+ years in a Hardware or Software Engineering role
1-2 years of mentorship/management experience
Experience managing delivery across organizations at an enterprise level
Experience facilitating regular communication channels between team members, stakeholders, and clients
Assisted or experience with project management or coordination

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Plusses:
Experience with Electro mechanical devices
Lottery experience
