Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join a customer in Alpharetta, GA to take on key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will work independently on design and development while collaborating with the team for reviews. Initially, the focus will be on coding and Java-specific tasks, transitioning to backend development once familiar with our stack. Day-to-day tasks include developing new features, updating systems, participating in design reviews, and managing backend components, including Spring Boot Microservices. The role also involves API integration, managing databases, and supporting the migration from a monolithic architecture to microservices. This role will require you to go in office 3x a week in Alpharetta, GA.
Pay rate: 45-55/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer
• Expertise in Java/Spring Boot – Develop and maintain scalable microservices, designing/deploying SOAP or REST services.
• Experience with SQL, including complex queries and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Linux, able to navigate the OS efficiently.
