Job Description

A client of Insight Global in the lottery products and services industry is hiring for two Senior DevOps Engineers to join their DevOps Team! This company is a global leader in providing customized, end-to-end gaming solutions to lottery and gaming organizations worldwide and develops an array of products and services including instant lottery games, lottery gaming systems, terminals and services, and Internet applications, as well as server-based interactive gaming machines.



This team supports the design, development, and maintenance of automated build and deployment pipelines for the Interactive Services Software Development team, currently supporting the applications for about 5 development teams total. The Senior DevOps Engineers will be working in hybrid legacy/modern environment doing both manual and automated deployments, identifying opportunities for automation and modernization, and ensure continuous security, quality in application development by automating security checks, test executions in build and deployment pipelines. These individuals will be responsible for deploying and managing Kubernetes workloads to Amazon EKS, creating comprehensive documentation on pipeline functionality, and proactively monitor system performance and identify potential issues. Additionally, the Senior DevOps Engineers will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to build secure, optimized, and efficient pipelines. These individuals should be interested in engaging in continuous learning and advocate for DevOps best practices and standards across the team. This position will be expected to work onsite in Alpharetta 2+ days a week during the onboarding and ramp up process, and then can pivot to a hybrid schedule of at least 1 day per week.

Required Skills & Experience

- 8+ Years of professional experience as DevOps Engineer, SRE or equivalent.

- Strong experience both building pipelines from scratch and maintaining pipelines with GitHub Actions.

- Proficiency in programming language Golang or Groovy utilized to build pipelines.

- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes/Amazon EKS creating, running, and deploying Kubernetes clusters.

- 3+ years of experience with cloud environment: AWS preferred, Azure as second option.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- - AWS or Kubernetes Certifications

- Background in supporting .Net applications (most applications they are supporting are in C#/.Net)

- Experience working in lottery/gaming industry
