Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Rental Cash Associate to support a high-volume Accounts Receivable team. This role is focused on resolving discrepancies and reconciling rental cash transactions following a system outage that created a backlog.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, digging into data, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Review rental cash data and identify discrepancies across reports and systems
- Analyze spreadsheets to ensure transactions balance and resolve items that do not reconcile
- Investigate root causes of mismatches by navigating multiple internal systems and web portals
- Perform research to locate missing or incorrect data (similar to a “scavenger hunt” process)
- Utilize tools such as FIS and Microsoft Office (Excel primarily) to reconcile accounts
- Work through a backlog of transactions and ensure accurate resolution
- Communicate with internal teams as needed to resolve issues and validate findings

Required Skills & Experience

- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of Accounts Receivable or general accounting experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple discrepancies at once
- Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Prior experience with account reconciliation or discrepancy resolution
- Familiarity with ERP systems or financial platforms (e.g., FIS)
- Strong Excel skills (comfortable working in spreadsheets and analyzing data)
