Job Description

We are seeking a Product Designer with a strong user experience research foundation to help design mission-critical features used daily in real-world yard management environments.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in workflow-heavy, data-rich systems and enjoys translating operational challenges into intuitive, scalable design solutions. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Success teams to simplify complex processes, reduce friction in high-volume workflows, and elevate the usability of our suite of technology solutions.

Your work will directly impact yard throughput and orchestration, asset visibility, safety, execution, and decision-making across our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct on-site user research at customer facilities (yards, warehouses, distribution centers) to observe workflows, gather voice-of-customer insights, and identify opportunities for product improvement
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and workflow analysis
• Translate research insights into personas, journey maps, problem statements, and design opportunities
• Advocate for frontline users while balancing enterprise business goals
• Prototype user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactions supporting platform feature initiatives
• Simplify multi-step workflows while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and operational integrity
• Contribute to and evolve the company's design system and interaction patterns
• Work closely with Product Managers to shape problem definition and solution strategy
• Elicit and incorporate feedback from customer support and enterprise customers
• Facilitate design reviews and communicate research findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Help embed user-centered thinking into the product development lifecycle.

Salary: $105-115K +15% based on expertise
