We are looking for a Senior GIS Developer with extensive professional experience working within RTI Web Development. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a GIS component in LEVO that will ultimately show all mobility-related layers, data, inventory and relationships. This would not just be the cell site locations, but rather all relationships with centralized/edge equipment including the transport between. Once LEVO goes into design and we can add in different capabilities, you will be responsible for identifying all existing layers, creating new layers, publish them and ultimately integrate them into the GIS system. Once integrated, we will then be able to automate each of these practices to allow easy access to layers. The goal of this project is to successfully create a map tied to the UI which will allow for easy and accurate accessibility of geographical information related to cell phone coverage. With this information, we will be able to properly identify good and bad sectors based off performance. This Senior GIS Developer will need to be able to work within the database to feed specific information into the RTI to visualize it. Once the data is visualized, it will be pushed out to the APIs which will ultimately be housing the information for the UI. We are also working to add an RF Propagation functionality within LEVO so that we are able to provide more detailed coverage, so previous experience working with the Cellular Expert is a plus.
Scale the current FRVT Fiber Route Time & Cost solution to allow for 7M batch and 1M run-time requests per month.
Previously it has not been possible to do this many requests in a month. A completely new batch process has been designed that with the ability to accomidate the scale of requests being asked for in this project. This new design will utilize databricks infrastructure with a third party licensed software (ESRI's Big Data Toolkit) that will allow for processing of millions of spatial calculations required to produce a time and cost route.
Solution description: Adapt FVRT fiber routing solution to use FRVT deployed ESRI BDT (batch) and AGS Enterprise (AKS) (single, batch w/queue). Provide least cost route for Fac Exists and Gap scenarios. Modify gap routing rules to current fiber planning standards with cost considerations for placement environment, trail class, barrier specifications, etc.
