Job Description

Role Overview
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day warehouse operations that support field crews and project teams in a telecommunications environment. This role focuses on material accuracy, organization, safety, and reliability—ensuring technicians have the right equipment at the right time. As part of a family‑owned company, this position requires a hands‑on leader who takes ownership, builds trust, and leads by example.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, staging, inventory control, and material distribution for telecom projects
Manage and track telecom‑specific materials such as fiber, coax, electronics, tools, and equipment
Coordinate closely with field supervisors, project coordinators, and dispatch to support job readiness
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct routine cycle counts and audits
Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards
Train and oversee warehouse staff; set expectations and hold team members accountable
Support procurement by identifying material shortages, overages, and re‑order needs
Assist with fleet, tool, and equipment tracking as needed

Required Skills & Experience

Qualifications

Prior experience supervising or leading warehouse operations
Exposure to telecommunications materials (fiber, coax, electronics, tools) strongly preferred
Strong organizational and inventory management skills
Comfortable working in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment
Basic computer skills (inventory systems, Excel, or similar tools)
Ability to communicate clearly with field and office teams
