• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex FinTech initiatives from requirements to production
• Own sprint execution, delivery timelines, risk management, and release readiness
• Actively monitor sprint boards, stand-ups, and ticket progress to remove blockers
• Partner with engineers and tech leads on architecture, solutioning, and implementation plans
• Translate stakeholder needs into detailed, well-scoped technical requirements
• Ensure ticket clarity, acceptance criteria quality, and edge-case coverage
• Oversee staging environments, QA cycles, and production release approvals
• Identify bugs, coordinate fixes, and validate business logic prior to release
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement discussions
• Present delivery updates, risks, and progress to senior leadership
• Serve as a technical liaison between engineering teams and executive stakeholders
Insight Global is seeking a Technical Project Manager (FinTech Engineering Leadership) for a top-tier FinTech client. This individual will lead the delivery of highly technical, regulated financial systems while working closely with engineering, product, QA, compliance, and operations teams. The ideal candidate began their career as a software engineer and brings deep technical fluency, strong Agile execution, and exceptional delivery discipline. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and critical to ensuring high-quality releases, scalable architecture, and reliable financial platforms in production.
Salary: $75K

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, technical leadership, or technical project management
• Prior hands-on experience as a Software Engineer / Software Developer
• Proven progression into Technical Lead, Engineering Manager, TPM, or Solutions Architect roles
• 3+ years delivering complex systems in FinTech, payments, banking, SaaS, or regulated environments
• Strong Agile/Scrum execution experience (sprint planning, grooming, retrospectives, stand-ups)
• Deep understanding of SDLC, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, QA, Compliance, Ops)
• Strong Jira (or similar) experience with ticket quality, backlog hygiene, and sprint oversight
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical tickets with acceptance criteria
• Hands-on ownership of delivery timelines, release readiness, and dependency management
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with payment processors or banking APIs (Stripe, Plaid, Marqeta, Dwolla, NACHA)
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, AML/KYC, or financial compliance systems
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, or event-driven architecture exposure
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform)
• CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications
• Prior people management experience
