Overview
Our client is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist to support day-to-day procurement operations for IT equipment and services. This individual will be responsible for managing procurement requests through internal systems, ensuring accurate data transfer between platforms, and resolving issues throughout the procurement lifecycle.
This is a highly process-driven role ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working across ticketing and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities
Process procurement, transfer, and equipment return requests within a JIRA ticketing system
Transfer procurement data from JIRA into SAP ByDesign workflows to initiate purchasing activities
Monitor and update procurement requests, ensuring all tickets remain accurate and up to date
Identify and resolve issues throughout the procurement process to prevent delays or errors
Serve as a liaison between internal teams to ensure smooth execution of procurement activities
Maintain accurate documentation and records across systems
Equipment & Procurement Scope
This role will support procurement for a wide range of IT and operational equipment, including:
Computers, laptops, and peripherals
NVRs, cameras, and security systems
Gate and access control systems
Software licenses
Cell phones and SIM cards
Printers

Required Skills & Experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or operations support (IT environment preferred)
Experience working with ticketing systems such as JIRA
Experience with ERP systems (SAP ByDesign or similar strongly preferred)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting IT equipment procurement
Familiarity with asset tracking or inventory workflows
Experience working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment
