Job Description

On a day to day this consultant will be working in these key areas:
System Design: Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
3D CAD Design: Use 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and other design methods to develop, maintain, and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs. Provide product definitions to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
Testing and Validation: Perform tests to validate and verify that systems and components meet the required specifications and standards.
Supplier Coordination: Conduct supplier development, test, and production activities. Coordinate with suppliers to optimize designs and achieve program goals.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in STEM
5+ years of experience in structural design engineering
5+ years in Model Based definition (3D and 2D)
3+ Experience within CATIA or ENOVIA design tools

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in structural design process from conceptual layout phase through build-to package release.
5+ years of experience in developing, qualifying and certifying new materials, parts and processes
5+ years of experience leading engineering team
