Job Description
A client of Insight Global’s is looking to hire a Scum Master to join their team. This role is a 6 month fully remote contract. This position will act as the Scrum Master for a team being stood up in an agile environment for a large HCM Implementation. The Agile Scrum Master will ensure effective execution of Scrum ceremonies (i.e. Team Norms, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Reviews). They will ensure Scrum processes are followed, facilitate collaboration, remove impediments, and shields the team from external interference while maintaining transparency through reporting (burn-down charts, velocity metrics). They will coach team members in Agile and Lean principles and actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as well as partner with Product Owner(s), and Portfolio Manager to maintain flow and transparency across the team’s backlog and delivery cycles. This candidate will have 4+ years of experience as a scrum master in an agile environment and hold active Scrum Master certifications.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a scrum master in an agile environment.
- Experience utilizing JIRA.
- Experience with Whiteboard tooling software (ex. LucidSpark)
- Change management experience
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or other comparable certifications required.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Coaching experience.
- Advanced Jira experience (configuring projects/boards, Jira Automation)
- Reporting experience (Jira, PowerBI, etc.)
