Job Description

As an Alteryx Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and maintaining the Alteryx platform within our organization. You will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and continuously improving Alteryx to support data analytics, automation, and data processing workflows. This position requires a strong understanding of Alteryx, data integration, and cloud infrastructure, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. An Alteryx Platform Engineer plays a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision-making, process automation, and data analytics within an organization. They ensure that the Alteryx platform is effectively utilized and aligned with business goals, making data accessible and actionable for the entire organization.



Configure, install, and maintain the Alteryx Server platform.

Monitor the platform's performance, health, and security.

Implement and enforce best practices for Alteryx usage and governance.

Workflow Development and Support:



Collaborate with data analysts and business users to design and develop Alteryx workflows to meet specific data analytics and automation needs.

Provide support and troubleshooting for workflow execution and optimization.

Integration and Data Management:



Integrate Alteryx with various data sources, databases, and third-party tools.

Manage data connections, ETL processes, and data quality assurance.



Automation and Orchestration:



Implement automation solutions using Alteryx to streamline business processes and data transformations.

Create and manage workflow schedules and triggers.

Performance Optimization:



Identify and address performance bottlenecks in Alteryx workflows and server configuration.

Continuously optimize workflows for efficiency and speed.

Collaboration and Training:



Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide Alteryx solutions.

Train and support end-users to maximize their efficiency with Alteryx.

Documentation and Reporting:



Maintain comprehensive documentation of Alteryx workflows, configurations, and processes.

Generate regular reports on platform usage and performance.

Security and Compliance:



Implement and enforce security best practices for data handling and user access.

Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
