Our client is looking for a Professional Engineer to join the team! This is a direct hire position with a competitive salary, benefits, PTO and more!
This role is remote but candidates must be located in the greater Tampa area.
The PE will apply technical and engineering skills to design complex projects and provide expertise in safe, cost effective and reliable distribution power facilities for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Perform complex engineering calculations to determine appropriate solutions for distribution projects for Investor Owned Utilities, Cooperatives, Municipals, and non-Utility customers. The position will have key involvement in the quality compliance and quality assurance processes for the distribution design function.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s of Science in Engineering from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) college and a minimum of 5 years of power distribution experience, as well as Professional Engineering License in the state of FL.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced skill development in Microsoft Office and other applications.
• Effective communication skills and providing status updates or any issues with current work assignments.
• Ability to work as an individual in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers.
• Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business information.
• Self-motivated, reliable, trustworthy, as well as technically competent.
• Demonstrated time management skills.
• Ability to constructively work on multiple tasks.
• Ability to travel up to 5%. Overnight stay may be required.
