Job Description
The Data Engineering Manager will oversee a team of four data engineers and manage the data infrastructure to develop operational data pipelines. This group handles new data and currently they are moving from a Cloud data warehouse to a Cloud Data Lakehouse ; Databricks. The Manager will need to be a solutions oriented leader who is strong at working with new technologies, providing clear documentation, and have the ability to be technically savvy / hands on.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Data Engineering, with a minimum of 2 years of managerial experience required.
- Technical Proficiency in Azure, Databricks, PySpark, SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Delta Lake
- Strong ability to navigate new technologies and provide strong documentation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience migrating from a Data Warehouse to Databricks
- Financial Institution Experience
