Job Description

An employer is looking for a Desktop Support Technician/IT Generalist for a contract possible hire opportunity that will be remote based out of Tampa, Florida. This individual will end user support to the employees and work out of a ticketing system to resolve any incidents. For a candidate to be successful in this role they must have a strong technical aptitude where they can work software incidents (70%) and hardware issues (30%). They also must have strong communication and customer service skills. This client is also looking for a candidate with a go-getter personality and high patience skills since they will be working with individuals who need their computer issues resolved immediately.

Required Skills & Experience

-Enterprise level support experience -- this company has 55k+ users, 18k+ computers, and 3k total sites.

-3+ years of experience troubleshooting hardware, software, network printing, Microsoft product support, and VPN's

-Experience with Active Directory, AS400, O365

-Network Printer configurations, alignments, and troubleshooting

-Enterprise ticketing system knowledge -- Service Now preferred.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Net+ or A+ certification
- ServiceNow knowledge
- Managed Service (MSP) Background
