Insight Global is hiring a Transportation Inspector to support various FDOT commercial construction projects in Tampa, FL. The FDOT Inspector is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of transportation projects on construction materials and operations, such as asphalt and concrete. This role involves conducting inspections, reviewing plans and specifications, and ensuring that all work adheres to state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site inspections of transportation projects, including roads, bridges, and other infrastructure.
Review construction plans, specifications, and materials to ensure compliance with FDOT standards.
Monitor contractor performance and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Document and report any discrepancies, deficiencies, or violations.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve issues and ensure project success.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records.
Ensure safety protocols and environmental regulations are followed.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance as needed.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation project inspection
Experience with commercial construction projects
Knowledge of FDOT standards, regulations, and procedures.
Concrete and/or Asphalt Certifications
