Job Description

Insight Global is is seeking a self-motivated, hands-on electronics technician to support the production of electronic test equipment. Responsibilities include assembly of cables, subassemblies, and box builds. The candidate should have a quality mindset and be able to navigate technical obstacles and varying work assignments.

Required Skills & Experience

Solder circuit boards with SMT and thru-hole components.
Perform operations such as soldering wires to terminals and plugs, installing relays, wiring or stuffing circuit boards, component preparation, building cables and wire harnesses, and completing crimp pin wire assemblies.
Conduct cable testing and functional testing of electronic circuit boards.
Read and follow assembly procedures, drawings, and work instructions.
EET, AS degree, or equivalent training in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of work experience or related Military Electrical/Electronics field experience.
Familiarity with basic electronics circuits.
Ability to use equipment such as oscilloscopes, AC/DC power supplies, and multimeters.
Ability to work independently and be self-sufficient while knowing when to ask for help.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Working knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001.
Firm grasp of ESD protocols.
Self-starter with a strong personal work ethic.
