Job Description
A client of ours is hiring an Electrical Designer for our Tampa, FL operation. The Electrical Designer manually and electronically designs and drafts detailed drawings, such as wiring diagrams and layout drawings for construction projects. Evaluates design work and supporting documents to verify conformance to industry codes and customer specific specifications and standards.
Day to Day:
- Some field work not on daily basis just when your given a project
○ 70% office 30% field
- Work with supervisory team to design projects

Required Skills & Experience
- 1-2 year of distribution design experience
- Education: Highschool or GED
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of electrical distribution design principles in both overhead and underground applications
- AutoCAD
- Blue Beam
- GIS work experience
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- College degree
- Comfortable working in person environment
- Civil 3D
- GIS work experience for an Electric company's internal data systems
