Job Description

A top IT consulting firm is looking for an Organizational Change Management specialist to join an IT consulting company for a yearlong contract with possible extensions. The main responsibilities of the OCM is to lead and support change initiatives related to the legacy modernization of several critical software applications. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth transition and adoption of new technologies across the organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a challenging work environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to engage with various stakeholders, including senior-level executives, the training team, and end-users.

Required Skills & Experience

* Must live in Tallahassee, Florida area

* Bachelor's Degree

* 5+ years of experience working as an OCM, particularly in large -- scale software modernization or IT transformation projects

* Experience working in a challenging environment with diverse stakeholder groups, including senior leadership and end users

* Experience with creating stakeholder analysis's

* Experience with creating change readiness reports

* Sharepoint experience

* Strong communicator

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus.
* Experience in the public sector or in a highly regulated industry
Experience in a leadership role
