Job Description
The candidate will be a highly motivated Engineer who is interested in working in a lean, Agile, entrepreneurial environment. The engineer must have an enthusiastic, creative, and collaborative personality to work with our teams to enhance and develop new and exciting products. Working with the development team, you will ensure the best possible Firmware, Software, and user experience. Design and implement strategies for quality coordination and testing as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems utilizing these key skills; leadership, debugging, critical thinking, problem solving, investigation, team player, interpersonal skills, open collaboration and attention-to-detail. A customer first mindset you can help shape the future of our products. STRONG EXPERIENCE in testing wireless devices embedded firmware, hardware interfaces, and system-level functionality across a range of devices. This role is 3x/week onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL and the pay rate will be $35-45/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience in embedded systems, software/firmware/hardware quality assurance.
- Understanding of embedded software development and hardware design principles
- Experience with hardware and/or software development lifecycle processes.
- Understand how Firmware works and have strong knowledge on embedded firmware testing.
- Understanding of firmware design tools, languages, debugging and analyzing results.
- Experience in design, execution of test to validate firmware and camera systems, ensuring accuracy, reliability and robustness data collection.
- JIRA/Confluence or other project management and bug tracking software.
- Writing test scenarios, test cases and test plans.
- Experience in code development and/or scripting language such as Python and experience with Unix/Linux systems software (OS and commands, ex. Shell scripts, OS and configuration).
- Experience in managing Jenkins environment and creating CI/CD pipeline to optimize test automation capabilities.
