Senior CEI Inspector

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior FDOT Inspector to join our team for Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) roadway construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with FDOT standards and delivering high-quality infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform field inspections on FDOT roadway construction projects, including asphalt and concrete work.
• Ensure compliance with FDOT specifications, safety standards, and project documentation requirements.
• Supervise and mentor junior inspectors, providing guidance and quality assurance.
• Review contractor work for adherence to approved plans and specifications.
• Document daily activities, prepare inspection reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
• Assist in analyzing contractor claims and schedule impacts when necessary.

5+ years of Transportation Construction Inspection experience
Roadway inspection experience (asphalt and concrete).
Strong project experience supporting FDOT
Proven ability to oversee inspection teams on FDOT projects.
Strong knowledge of FDOT construction standards, compliance protocols, and documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office and electronic documentation systems.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Experience with bridge projects or other complex FDOT infrastructure.
Certifications such as CTQP (Construction Training Qualification Program) for Asphalt, Concrete, and Earthwork.
Familiarity with FDOT project management systems and reporting tools.
