Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Data Architecture Delivery Specialist to support enterprise data modernization and cloud transformation initiatives. This individual will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, guiding, and helping deliver scalable, cloud‑based data platforms, with a strong emphasis on Databricks, data engineering, and data architecture.
This role partners closely with business stakeholders, Agile delivery teams, and the Enterprise Architecture organization to design and implement end‑to‑end data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and future advanced capabilities. The ideal candidate brings deep hands‑on experience building and operating enterprise data platforms in the cloud and is comfortable balancing architecture leadership with practical, hands‑on engineering work. This opportunity is hybrid, 3 days in office and 2 remote in Bradenton, FL. Salary $150k-200k
Day‑to‑Day
• Partner with business and Agile teams to define data, ML, and AI requirements
• Lead architecture and design for cloud‑based data and AI platforms
• Drive data modernization and cloud migration initiatives
• Provide hands‑on technical leadership and mentoring

Required Skills & Experience
• 15+ years in data engineering / data modeling
• 5+ years in a senior or architecture‑focused role
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing and operating enterprise cloud data platforms on Databricks, including end‑to‑end data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, and consumption), Databricks workspace deployment and administration, strong PySpark and Lakehouse architecture experience, and practical exposure to ML workloads, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure
○ Preferred in P&C Insurance company alignment
• Solid cloud experience (AWS preferred)
• Background with MDM or previous work structuring an MDM
• Broad understanding of BI tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
○ Databricks / Spark certifications
○ Experience with Informatica MDM, Lake Fusion, Verato
○ BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Qlik, sigma
○ AWS architecture or AI certifications
○ AI and ML apps
○ Delivering AI solutions for P&C insurance
