Job Description

This candidate will be responsible for lab testing, quality control, specimen processing, following laboratory assay instructions, phlebotomy, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting. They will also assess research laboratory kits supply requirements for clinical trials and ensure timely ordering and delivery of trial supplies for research patient care. Daily duties include performing phlebotomy, ECG and vital signs and completing laboratory procedures and processing of labs including shipping. They will assists the Research Coordinators and Manager with duties that include, but are not limited to, filing, collecting data from outside sources, checking and maintaining DDU equipment, maintenance of the laboratory and supplies as well.

Required Skills & Experience

* 2 years experience working as a phlebotomist or with oncology patients

* Proficient in EMR systems

* Valid Drivers License

* Must have strong communication skills and ability to work well with patients, staff and principal investigators

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Lab experience highly preferred

* BLS/CPR cert
