Job Description
A client in the St. Petersburg, FL area is looking for a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team for a 6 month-contract-to-hire opportunity. As a general maintenance mechanic, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to ensure the operation and safety of the facilities. You will perform repairs and scheduled preventative maintenance on Valves, HVAC, boilers, etc. 50% of your time will be preventative maintenance tasks and repairs. The other 50% you will be monitoring utilities, responding to service calls, getting equipment back up and running and troubleshooting. This candidate should also be able to work independently or as part of a team and adhere to health and safety standards.

Required Skills & Experience
• 1 year of experience in maintenance field or related field
• Basic knowledge and experience in various trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical
• Valid Driver's License and Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and soldering equipment.
