Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Medical Assistant in Ponte Vedra to work at a primary care facility with 4 MAs and one LPN, 4 PCPs, and a NP. As an MA you will be responsible for providing the following responsibilities:
• Provide support to assigned provider
• Greet and escort patients during visit
• Obtain urine samples, EKGs, covid/flu/strep swabs, etc when requested
• Discuss lab results with patients
• Maintain medical documentation
• Schedule care, treatment, and diagnostic tests per physician request
• Assisting with PAP or well woman exams

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma/GED
2+ years of experience as MA
Strong time management & administrative abilities
Must be comfortable in a high-volume office setting
Must be comfortable seeing 15 patients per day, 15-30 min appointment times
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross
Dependability, attendance
Must be willing to provide documentation or obtain vaccinations included below:
Hep B, TB, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Flu (seasonal), MMR vaccine

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Previous Epic experience
• CMA/RMA certification strongly preferred – will need to obtain their MA once converted since it’s an MA II role
• Point of care experience
• EKG experience
• OBGYN experience
• Family/Internal medicine healthcare environment
