Job Description

The Fire Alarm Install Helper/Level 1 supports the installation of fire alarm and low‑voltage life‑safety systems by assisting with conduit runs, cable pulling, device mounting, equipment room layout, and following engineered drawings under the direction of senior installers. This role helps prepare materials, maintain tools, and ensure work areas are safe and organized while learning proper installation methods, code requirements, and basic troubleshooting practices. The installer works closely with project leadership to complete tasks efficiently, follow construction and safety standards, and develop the foundational skills required to advance within the fire alarm installation trade.

Required Skills & Experience

- 1+ years of fire alarm installation experience with the ability to interpret and execute engineered drawings.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn NEC, NFPA, and construction safety standards relevant to fire alarm installation.
- Ability to perform physical installation tasks such as pulling wire, mounting devices, laying out conduit pathways, and bending/fitting pipe
