Manages the finances and account reporting for the department
Prepare and manage the annual operating and capital budgets
Forecast revenue and expenses
Report accounting data
Control the expenditures of departmental appropriations
Prepare technical and administrative reports
Assists with analysis and calculation of Sanitation rates, fees and other charges
Assists with managing emergency situations
Prepares, monitors, and tracks reimbursements and reconciliation of all Federal, State, FEMA, and Grants awarded to Pensacola Energy
Assists with the development and implementation of strategies to support the growth and continuous improvement of Sanitation Services
Assists with the negotiation and preparation of contracts, leases, and agreements
Formulates financial related policies and procedures with the concurrence of the Sanitation Services Director
Acts as a liaison with Federal, State, local, and other agencies
Performs related work as required

5+ years of financial experience and Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance, business, or related discipline; or 9+ years of financial administration experience
Valid drivers license and ability to pass background
Experience managing large departmental or organizational budgets
Excellent Excel skills with the ability to prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive reports, tables and charts
