Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Construction Inspector to join our team fully on-site in Pensacola, FL. The Construction Inspector will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting a diverse range of construction projects, including roadway, utility, site development, and other related ventures.
- Review and interpret plans and specifications with contractors, ensuring the quality and adherence to design specifications throughout the construction process.
- Inspect stormwater drainage, sewer installations, grades, materials, and surfacing applications for compliance with established requirements.
- Monitor and assess the weight, quantity, and quality of various materials
- Coordinate project schedules and payment estimates with contractors, and gather essential data for official reports and engineering estimates.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience in public project engineering such as street or sewer construction
- Knowledge of the methods, materials, practices, and techniques used in construction
- Ability to read and interpret routine engineering designs and specifications
- Skilled in the application of proper inspection and investigation methods and techniques
- Ability to pass a drug and background check
