Insight Global is looking for an Estimator to join their clients team. This person will be working on projects assigned to them daily. They will be a takeoff by going through a set of plans and making a list of all materials that they would need to quote for their projects. Then they will price them out by going into their software tool to create a proposal of what the cost will look like so they can put a sell price together.
The Estimator will review and execute bids on multiple and/or more projects. This position is responsible for all aspects of the estimating and bid process, from review of plans and specifications, to soliciting quotes from the manufacturers.
Position Responsibilities:
o Manage cost estimates for assigned estimating projects in a fast-paced environment.
o Coordinate with customers, manufacturers, and sales teams on estimating projects.
o Learn about a wide range of mechanical products and understand the applied applications.
o Performs other duties as assigned.
o Reports directly to the Branch Manager and/or Estimating Manager
