Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Asset Management Analyst (AMP) to support a high-visibility Air Force Civil Engineering program focused on optimizing infrastructure lifecycle management across Air Force and Space Force installations. This individual will play a key role in analyzing asset data, validating project requirements, and supporting portfolio-level decision-making that ensures mission-ready facilities while reducing infrastructure risk. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in DoD civil engineering, asset management systems, and data-driven analysis, and thrives in a collaborative government–contractor environment supporting strategic infrastructure modernization initiatives.

• Support one Sub-AMP portfolio (Facilities, Utilities, or Transportation/Networks/Pavements)
• Review and validate repair project programming documents (DD 1391/1391C, compliance certs, MILCON calculations)
• Advise installations on AFIs, UFCs, and AFCAMP business rules
• Analyze infrastructure data and asset performance (SMS, BUILDER, CPP)
• Develop and validate project requirements, cost estimates, and documentation
• Perform lifecycle cost analysis (LCCA) and cost-benefit evaluations
• Build dashboards and visual tools to support leadership decision-making
• Support pavement management plans and site visits as required
• Assist with gap analyses, infrastructure assessments, and resilience planning
• Participate in requirements boards and planning charrettes
• Develop briefings, reports, templates, and training materials
• Provide administrative and technical support to senior leadership

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably Engineering)
• 5+ years of experience in:
o Civil Engineer (CE) Requirements Optimization (R&O)
o CE Operations or Sub-AMP Management (Facilities, Utilities, or TNAP)
• Experience supporting DoD installations (AFCEC, AFIMSC, MAJCOM, or similar)
• Strong understanding of:
o FSRM and MILCON programming processes
o Air Force infrastructure requirements and planning documentation
o Reviewing projects and making recommendations
o Developing trainings and SOPs (utilities systems and facilities installations)
• Hands-on experience with:
o BUILDER
o GIS
o Power BI
o Enterprise Asset Management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to complex environments
o Understanding various data gaps, analyzing the anomalies, and then communication to the installation for remediation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Air Force Civil Engineering background
• Familiarity with Air Force mission and organizational structure
• Experience in a contractor or customer-facing environment
• Experience with project programming and AFCAMP
• Existing NAC-I clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Strong independent work ethic in a fast-paced government environment
