Job Description

Our client in the Manufacturing industry is building a customer‑facing enterprise data ecosystem that serves as a universal data layer across multiple ERPs and customer channels. They are seeking a Front‑Office Solution Architect to focus on CRM, ecommerce, and digital customer platforms.
This role is centered on how customer interactions, sales activity, and digital engagement data flow across CRM, ecommerce, and portals, and how that data is standardized and delivered to power trusted commercial KPIs.
• Serve as the primary architect for CRM, ecommerce, and front‑office customer platforms
• Partner with sales, marketing, ecommerce, and analytics teams to define customer‑centric data products
• Lead discovery sessions to understand how customer interaction data is created and consumed across front‑office systems
• Define data models, mappings, and conceptual architectures across CRM, ecommerce, and digital platforms
• Ensure front‑office data integrates cleanly with ERP and enterprise analytics layers
• Support analytics use cases related to pipeline, revenue, customer engagement, and channel performance
• Evaluate KPIs to ensure they accurately reflect commercial and customer activity
• Identify and address data quality issues across customer‑facing platforms
• Create and present system maps, data flows, and conceptual architecture artifacts
• Educate stakeholders on how front‑office customer data flows across the enterprise

Ideal Pay Rate: $75-$90/hr (dependent on years of experience)

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8+ years of experience in enterprise business systems, solution architecture, or business systems analysis within manufacturing environments
• Experience working across enterprise platforms including:
○ CRM (Salesforce or comparable)
○ Ecommerce and digital channels
○ Contact center platforms (Five9, AWS Connect, or similar)
○ Integration/middleware tools (Boomi, SAP CPI, AWS Glue, Lambda, etc.)
• Hands‑on experience supporting manufacturing data domains, including orders, invoices, line items, and channel performance
• Experience supporting customer interaction and engagement data, including sales activity, ecommerce transactions, and digital touchpoints
• Strong understanding of enterprise data structures, data mapping, and data modeling
• Experience supporting customer‑facing and operational analytics, including line‑item and order‑to‑invoice analytics
• Strong systems thinker who understands dependencies between source systems, data products, and KPIs
• Experience supporting multi‑tier manufacturing sales and distribution models(manufacturer → distributor / channel partner → end customer)
• Excellent communication skills; able to translate data and system concepts into business language
• Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments
US‑based and open to limited travel (~20%)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Salesforce architecture, CRM data models, or Sales/Service Cloud
• Experience with ecommerce or digital commerce platforms in manufacturing or B2B environments
• Exposure to marketing platforms, customer portals, or digital experience tools
• Experience with data‑as‑a‑product or enterprise customer data initiatives
• Exposure to AI‑enabled CRM tools, copilots, or customer intelligence platforms
• SAFe, Agile, or architecture certification
• Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Iceberg tables, Snowflake)
