Job Description

As a Field Audit Technician, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring utility pole compliance and safety. You’ll conduct visual inspections, document findings using tablet, and help identify potential issues or NESC violations. This position combines technical accuracy with professional conduct in diverse environments—from quiet neighborhoods to busy roadside locations. Travel required in this role throughout Daytona Beach, Miami, Orlando, Panhandle FL.


Key Responsibilities
Perform field audits and visual inspections of utility poles and attachments.
Enter accurate data into an iPad-based system; maintain thorough documentation.
Navigate both simple and complex sites (some with 30–40 items to track) while minimizing errors.
Uphold safety standards and professional behavior in residential and roadside settings.
Use specialized tools, including a long measuring pole device (training provided).
Collaborate with team members and escalate compliance concerns promptly.

Required Skills & Experience

High school diploma or GED.
Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to safety.
Physical ability to walk, stand, squat, bend, use a step ladder, and navigate uneven terrain.
Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a personal vehicle to job sites.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (uniforms, PPE, and boot allowance provided).
Ability to pass a background check and 5-panel drug test (THC included).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in utilities or telecom fieldwork.
Familiarity with joint-pole audits or NESC compliance inspections.
