Job Description
A client of Insight Global is hiring for Install Technicians to support the installation of Robotic systems for supply chain customers. As part of the installation team, candidates will be one of the first representatives onsite following project award and play a critical role in delivering successful system implementations. This role is responsible for the mechanical and electrical assembly of robotic systems, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule objectives are met while collaborating closely with Project Management, Engineering, and Product Development teams.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of hands-on mechanical and/or electrical installation experience
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 80%)
Experience transitioning complex systems into full operation
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
Experience assembling and installing equipment using hand and power tools
Comfortable working in tight spaces and elevated environments
Prior experience working with skilled trades (electricians, millwrights, riggers)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Customer-first mindset with experience working directly onsite with clients
Ability to perform basic low-voltage wiring
Ability to work flexible shifts to meet aggressive project deadlines
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
2‑year vocational degree (Millwright or related field)
Experience with network / IT hardware installs (PCs, servers, UPS, scanners, etc.)
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project experience
AutoCAD review experience (redlines / markups)
Experience directing or leading installation crews
Forklift or high‑reach certification (or willingness to obtain)
Passport (or willingness to obtain)
Experience supporting product development or field testing
Experience with fast‑paced, quick‑turn installations
