Job Description

A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Portfolio/Financial analyst. This candidate will support the IT Projects financials. They monitor the expenditures to ensure that all projects are completed on remain on track within the budgets. They will prepare reporting and financial analysis for IT management including explanations of variances to forecast, plan, and prior periods and other ad hoc analysis, as requested;

This hourly rate varies between 50/hr - 65/hr

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years finaical/portfolio analyst in IT field
Proficient in Excel Pivot tables, v lookups, macros (power query and power pivots would be a plus)
Strong Presentation and Communication Skills
5+ years experience in Accounting and/or Finance
Working knowledge of SAP preferred
Experience managing minimum budget of $10M+ in complex IT organization
Expertise in accounting principles with extensive understanding of establishing, documenting, and tracking budgets
Demonstrated knowledge of capital and expense budgeting, forecasting and monthly accruals
Knowledge of the Project Management Institute (PMI) project lifecycle
