Job Description
Manage multiple concurrent Utilities CIP projects from planning and land acquisition
through design, permitting, bidding, and construction including coordination with
consultants, regulatory agencies, and other County Divisions. The focus will be on
projects that connect residential parcels to central sewer systems and eliminate existing
septic systems. Manage multiple cost share and grant agreements from federal, state, or local agencies
that provide funding assistance for CIP projects, especially ones that qualify for septicto-sewer and/or resilience/hardening programs. Management of such agreements
includes cost share/grant applications, monthly and/or quarterly compliance
documentation, and payment reimbursement requests. Establishing and maintaining
strong relationships with cost share/grant managers is a critical part of this duty.
