Must Haves:
• 2+ years’ experience building interfaces enterprise integration engines – preferably IRIS (Ensemble)
• Associate degree in Computer Science or related study
Plusses
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related study
• Additional certifications
• Epic Bridges Certification
Day to Day
• Full project life cycle development of HL7, EDI or other data type interfaces using Integration Engine and other tools
• Guides Epic application teams and business stakeholders on large scope projects, gathering requirements, developing test plans, and ensuring accuracy of data integrations
• Responsible for analysis, support and maintenance, of existing or planned Hl7 or non-HL7, EDI or any data interfaces and other integration solutions with a focus on efficiency, and standards
• Provides support when issues arise to maintain the integrity of the enterprise data
• Provides project support as an active team member within the Information Services teams and works to promote a positive team environment
• Must be competent to work under minimal supervision in all phases of interface analysis and development
• Reviews upgrade documentation related to integration features and business requirements content
• Escalates issues to the Integration Manager when hard-stops and/or technical barriers are encountered preventing the solution from completing successfully or in a timely manner
• Provides guidance and assistance for other team members to ensure efficient and effective responses to business intelligence needs
• Adheres to IT standards for methodologies, quality assurance and security
