Job Description

We are seeking two Electrical Engineers level II to sit in either Orlando, FL or Las Vegas, NV to support entertainment, industrial automation, and control‑system projects. The ideal candidate must have 4-7 years of experience in Electrical design and engineering. These roles involve designing electrical systems, creating control panel documentation, and supporting automation hardware used in theaters, theme‑park attractions, cruise ship retrofits, stage machinery, and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and safety circuits
- Perform thermal calculations, load analysis, and enclosure heat‑management sizing
- Design and document control panels compliant with NFPA and UL standards
- Work with PLC hardware (Siemens, Beckhoff, Allen‑Bradley, Schneider) for I/O planning and system integration
- Produce Bills of Materials (BOMs) and maintain engineering data in ERP systems (Epicor or equivalent)
- Collaborate with mechanical, fabrication, and project teams to deliver complete system designs
- Use AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Autodesk Inventor, and Autodesk Vault for design and revision control

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering (or Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field)
- 4-7 Years of experience in Electrical design and engineering
- Experience with electrical CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)
- Ability to design and review schematics, panel layouts, and wiring documentation
- Understanding of UL508A, NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and functional safety principles (SIL/PL)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor preferred, any ERP acceptable)
- Strong foundation in electrical design, automation hardware, and industrial safety

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Industrial control system knowledge (IE PLC’s and VFD’s).
- Beckhoff or Siemens knowledge
- Technical theater, entertainment automation, or show‑control systems
