The Drainage Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of drainage and stormwater systems within transportation projects. This role involves analyzing and resolving water and drainage-related issues, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and collaborating with other engineering professionals to integrate drainage systems into broader infrastructure projects.

Bachelor's degree within Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or any related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience within Civil Engineering specifically within Transportation scopes of work
Experience with hydraulic modeling and flood risk assessment.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant technical tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
PE license within the State of Florida
- Design and develop effective drainage and stormwater systems.
- Analyze and resolve water and drainage-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare technical specifications and drawings for drainage systems.
- Conduct field inspections and assessments.
- Collaborate with team members on large-scale projects.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and modeling.
- Maintain and update current drainage systems as needed.
- Develop technical reports and diagrams to document design and inspection findings.
- Respond to drainage-related emergencies and develop solutions to rectify issues.
